30 Day Challenge: Day 4

Day 4: A picture of your favorite night

You know how people say "A picture is a thousand words"? Well this picture does!! But I'm actually going to say only a few. So this night was amazing! These girls in this picture have a special place in my heart. This is the remaining girls in my pledge class in Alpha Gamma Delta. This was one night when we were ALL together. It was the night before our last rush. We had an absolute blast together!! Some great memories were made that night!! :)

30 Day Challenge: Day 3

Day 3: A picture of the cast from your favorite show

I know Gilmore Girls isn't on air any more, but I absolutely love this show. I have all the seasons, and when I'm at home when ABC Family shows it I watch it...of course. I love the bond that Lorelai and Rory have. And of all the pictures I could have used, I decided on this one because out of Rory's three boyfriends she has had on the show, I love her and Logan together.

30 Day Challenge: Day 2

Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

This would be Kristin. For some of my followers, you might be thinking she looks familiar. Well, you're right. I was going through a hard time about a month ago, and I blogged about my two best friends. Kristin and I have seriously known each other almost our whole lives. We are both from Troy, so natually we grew up together. She has always been there for me, and I have always been there for her when she has needed me. I can't imagine my life without her, but soon enough I'm going to have to. :( I graduate at the end of the summer and will be moving away, while Kristin stays here in Troy. I have a feeling though, where ever I am she will visit. Kristin is like me, and will take just about any chance to get out of Troy. So there ya go, followers! :)

Happy 40 Years, AΓ∆-Gamma Sigma!!

This past weekend was a big deal for my sorority. I am a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, and our chapter celebrated 40 years of being on Troy's campus. One thing I love about being an Alpha Gam, is that my mom is also an Alpha Gam so we get to share that bond. My mom has stayed active as an alum and serves as President for our Alumni Group. Since about last October, she has been planning vigorously for our annual International Reunion Day, a luncheon that alumni get to come back for, and also our Spring Formal. So these two events were extra special this year! This past Saturday these events finally arrived.

Saturday afternoon was IRD. It was so fun hearing how our chapter used to be 40, 30, 20, and 10 years ago. We heard some really funny stories and many that made me cry...multiple times. (That probably has a lot to do with the fact that I'm in my last semester of school)

Then that night, Formal arrived. Our functions are always just collegians, but it was an option for the alums to come as well. I had an absolute blast at Formal! It was so funny seeing some of our alums that are in their 50's and 60's out on the dance floor. I was really sad when the night came to an end, because we thought it was going to be our last function. Well, come to find out our alums are planning a Date Party for us at no expense. We were very happy when we found this out!

If anyone that's reading this is in a sorority, pay attention here: Cherish the bonds with your sisters. After hearing some of our alums' stories about losing touch with some people it really showed me that I need to keep in touch with them. I can't imagine my life without my sisters, and so I'm going to do everything I can to keep them in my life.

Basketbowl in Luverne

This past Friday night my friend Elizabeth and I decided to do something a little different. We wanted to go bowling and since there is no where in Troy to do that, we drove to Luverne to go to Basketbowl with my boyfriend, John, and another friend, Bradley. We got there and had to wait for a lane, so while we waited we played arcade games. We had so much fun acting like little kids. After we got on our lane, we decided to play two games, the first was an individual game and the second was girls against boys. Elizabeth and I didn't do great, but we still had a blast!
